With the season of gathering with family and friends around the corner, quickly followed for many by escaping for a hot holiday, now is the time to improve your photography skills. This 2 hour photo workshop by skilled professionals at the new Pixels 2.1 location at 217 McDermot Ave. (map) will do just that.

We will split into two concurrent workshops:

Getting to Know Your Camera
Dave Benson, a camera tech specialist with Henry's will talk to each person regarding their camera and explain the best features for taking better pictures. Please bring your own camera -- this will be hands on, the most effective way to learn.

Better Travel Photography
This session will walk you through some creative ways to take more interesting travel images. Using his own images, Pixels 2.1 co-owner Joe Kerr will explain why and how they were accomplished. These are easy techniques that can be used for any type of camera. He will also have a handout that you can take home as a reference and keep in your camera bag.

Each session will be about 45 minutes and there will be a 20 min. break.  Coffee, tea and cold beverages will be available along with some light snacks.

MEMBER COST: $12 per person  (includes $2 R:ED admin fee)
