R:ED Event - First Friday in the Exchange
The first Friday each month is a celebration of the art community in the Exchange District. Each
First Friday is unique and wonderful. Galleries often hold openings of new exhibitions, artists open their studios to the public and special events take place -- all just outside our door!
On Friday May 3rd, we will have a First Friday event both for First Friday veterans and for you newbies. Whether you are an artist, art-lover, wanna-be or just want to get out and see what it is all about, there will be something for you.
We will start at the
Fox & Fiddle (456 Main St.) at 6:30. Over a beverage, we can pour over the
evening's program (I will bring some) and decide on a plan of attack. If you want to have dinner at the Fox and Fiddle, come at 6:00. There will be a reserved section for R:ED.
We will depart around 7pm to check out the First Friday venues. We can go as a group, but if you want to venture out in your own group, that's okay too. At 9:00 we will meet at the
Kings Head Pub for another beverage, and some lively discussion about what we have seen.

Time: 6:00 if you are having dinner; 6 - 7 if only for a beverage; we depart at 7pm for First Friday tour then meet at Kings Head Pub at 9:00
