The Residents of the Exchange District, or R:ED, is a vibrant urban 20-block community that is home to families, businesses, artisans and so much more.
We are a National Historic Site where nearly 150 heritage buildings proudly stand representing Winnipeg’s past. As residents of this heritage site we are working to build a strong sense of community, where people want to live, visit and open businesses.
Urban life in Winnipeg is a new concept but it is catching on fast. As this district grows in popularity, we are remaining vigilant to ensure we welcome positive change while at the same time respecting and preserving the past.
The Exchange District is a true gem of Winnipeg.
